Feds may close mob-busting unit

Peter Henning, a Wayne State University professor and former federal prosecutor was quoted on the Justice Department considering disbanding the mob-busting unit of the FBI. The Detroit unit is the second oldest in the country, created in 1967. \"The idea was we needed an \'untouchables\' unit to go after the mob,\" said Peter Henning. \"This is a fight that\'s gone on for 20 plus years between main Justice and the U.S. attorneys.\"
